Where Science Meets “Sustainable Living”

Many people hope to continue staying at home even as they age.

This research focuses on “housing environment for the older people” and pursues the ideal characteristics of housing that contributes to well-being (a state of physical and mental fulfillment).

The purpose of this research is to elucidate “housing good for older people” that is based on scientific evidence by developing assessment tools, utilizing panel data in social science, and analyzing big data, including medical and long-term care claims held by local governments.

We are bridging research and social implementation for the future aging society.
